Keep up with Paris: French Vogue site launching in English

Until now Vogue Italia has been the only web edition of the style bible to offer two languages but as of April 16 the online edition of French Vogue, Vogue.fr, will also be accessible to English speakers.Editor-in-chief of Vogue.fr Jennifer Neyt confirmed to The Cut April 10 that as of Monday there will be a French and British flag on the navigation bar so readers can access translated versions of the French content.
The news follows Vogue.frs tweet last week reading France gave the US the Statue of Liberty, now we are taking Vogue.fr to the wider world... get ready for #VogueParisinEnglish.
The multilingual announcement comes just as former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld announced that her upcoming style publication CR Fashion Book, launching internationally this September, will be in English except when that isn't the native language of the contributor (in such cases there will be translations in the back).
In other Vogue news, there has been a buzz on style forum The Fashion Spot that Vogue Thailand could be a possibility for 2013. While there are already editions of Harper's Bazaar and Elle in the country, a Fashion Spot forum member translated an article from a Thai newspaper reporting a Vogue Thailand project is in the works.
Since launching in the US in the late 19th century, the publication has been launched in nearly 20 destinations across the globe, with the most recent launch being Vogue Netherlands which hit newsstands last month.
