Chanel Cruise collection details teased, hints at regal theme

>From Los Angeles to Venice, Karl Lagerfeld is famed for selecting glamorous locations for his annual Croisire presentations, and this season looks set to be no different with the designer reportedly heading to the Chteau de Versailles near Paris.Details relating to the star-studded event are still top secret, although fashion writer Jim Shi divulged the events location and date on Twitter April 12.

Although a little closer to home this time around, the creators regal choice of setting conjures up images of the chateaus most famous resident Marie-Antoinette with her grandiose wigs and corseted gowns.
Along with the likes of Dior and Gucci, the Chanel Resort collection is one of the fashion worlds most anticipated, with last years show at the Hotel du Cap in Antibes on the French Riviera welcoming stars such as Vanessa Paradis, Blake Lively, and Rachel Bilson to see Lagerfelds nautical-influenced creations.
