Get shopping: Fashion's Night Out going global

A mere four years since its launch, the annual Fashion's Night Out has announced further expansion for 2012, with all of the 19 territories that publish Vogue hosting the stylish shopping soiree.Dates for the next edition in the UK, US, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Australia and Korea have been set for September 6, while some countries will also host events in multiple cities.
For example, British Vogue reports that in Italy there will be events in Milan, Rome, and Florence, while Germany will host events in both Berlin and Dsseldorf.
The extravaganza, which was spearheaded by US Vogue editor Anna Wintour to promote the retail industry, sees special limited-edition products, celebrity appearances, and top in store performances.
It always attracts big names -- the likes of Isabeli Fontana and Anja Rubik attended Vogue Paris editor Emmanuelle Alt's event in Paris last September and Gwyneth Paltrow co-hosted the Coach store opening on London's Bond Street for the UK edition.
